i have been soooo busy that i have not taken the time to blog... i have been missing you, Upcycled Decor! and i will be back to spend some time with you. i am determined to find some balance and carve out some time. see you real soon.  i promise.

 and i'm really feeling the pops of color.

i'm a collector......

     for years i have been a collector (hubby would say, "border-line hoarder") LOL.  i find things that i heart/love and simply can't walk away from them.  perhaps, they are well made. or, maybe they remind me of my mom or grandma. and then, others are just too cute to pass up. here are some of this weeks furniture finds that have been given a new lease with a fresh paint job. they are headed over to THE SHOWROOM as part of the new collection of goodies.  will be posting more pics soon!

  this is a piece that i got a few months back.  i love her lines and details.  she has been transformed! do you remember what she use to look like? if not,scroll down. she is somewhere near the bottom of the page. i painted her in a concocted grey tone, roughed her up a bit and highlighted her with my fav, silver. she fits the space so much better than the black piece that preceded her and she really makes the mirror look great too! you go girl!!!!

     I heart, love, heart, love, heart,  love Pinterest! I find myself there everyday, several times a day! Wow! The creative things that bloggers are coming up with! So much talent out there! 

     I look at who's pinning what, and often think, "she could be my best friend!" LOL!!!!!!  No, serious!
